2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rage Room you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

3. Description of Service

Rage Room is a browser-based 3D destruction game. The core game is free to play. An optional paid add-on (“Photo Upload”, $4.99 one-time purchase) allows users to upload a personal photo to be displayed on in-game objects. Photos are processed entirely in the user’s browser and are never transmitted to our servers.

4. User Accounts

You may create an account by providing an email address, a password, and a public nickname.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
Nicknames must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content.

5. Purchases & Payments

Payments for the Photo Upload add-on are processed by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record.
All prices are displayed in USD and include applicable taxes where required by Lemon Squeezy.
By completing a purchase you also agree to Lemon Squeezy’s Terms of Service.
Your purchase is tied to your account and is non-transferable.

7. User Content & Conduct

Photos you upload are processed locally in your browser. We do not store, moderate, or have access to your uploaded images.
You must not upload content that is illegal, depicts minors, or infringes on third-party rights.
You must not attempt to exploit, hack, or interfere with the service, other users, or our infrastructure.
Automated access (bots, scrapers) is prohibited unless explicitly authorized.

8. Leaderboard

Scores are recorded and displayed publicly alongside your chosen nickname. We reserve the right to remove scores obtained through cheating or exploitation.

9. Intellectual Property

All game content, code, graphics, audio, and design elements are the property of the operator and are protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Game progress and scores may be lost due to technical issues.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including §§ 521 ff. BGB for free services), our liability is limited to damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence. For paid services, liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damages. This does not affect liability for injury to life, body, or health.

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/DSGVO). For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via the website.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you additionally benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
